Jonathan Anderson, a london-based designer, is known for his visionary take on fashion. For the third time, the brands JW ANDERSON and the Japanese retailer UNIQLO have collaboration to create a collection. They have reimagined for today the British classics.
In this collection, for the Spring/Summer 2019, Anderson has been inspired by his family. Indeed, he used silhouettes that allude to the life of his father. Moreover, the mix of fashionable pragmatism and classic British style shows that the two brands share values of quality and innovation.
The creative director of JW ANDERSON says about this collaboration: “It is always fun collaborating with Uniqlo. I always find it super interesting how two brands with very different backgrounds can come together to create an exciting collection. In the third collation of the collaboration, I envision a summer wardrobe that could be relaxed and chic at the same time; a versatile and youthful collection.”
The capsule collection is composed of T-shirts, drawstring shorts and pants for the men while women will be able to find T-shirts and tank tops, 3/4 sleeve blouses, cropped pans, flare shorts, skirts, dresses, and multiple jackets. Moreover, the two brands have also created socks, a reversible hat, totes and shoulder bags.
The collection will be available on March 7 in stores and on UNIQLO’s website.
