During the storied Hot 97 FM’s Summer Jam 2016 festival this weekend, Kanye West and Desiigner came on stage together to perform “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.2” from Kanye’s The Life Of Pablo, and Desiigner’s viral megahit “Panda”. Kanye brought out Desiigner as a special guest during his set, halfway through “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.2”, which heavily samples “Panda”.
The performance features Kanye messing up verses and skipping a lot of lines out, even saying out “I ****ed that **** up, my bad“, which caused a lot of controversy online relating to the the quality of Kanye’s latest performances. The Summer Jam festival has also been a part of serious drama, when it had to finish before the headlining act Future could play his set, along with other artists.
