Kanye West has made a generous contribution this Thanksgiving.
Audience sources have revealed that businesswoman and star of reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian has appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with a surprise. Kim has reportedly told Ellen DeGeneres that her husband and American rapper Kanye West was able to raise $500,000 with adidas and his Yeezy brand.
On Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kim will donate this money to the California Community Foundation and The California Fire Foundation with a $200,000 check each. Additionally, she will give a $100,000 check to firefighter Michael Williams and his wife whose home was burned down during the fires while Williams was saving other properties.
The couple and their three children have been forced themselves to leave their homes during the fire two weeks ago. Kim Kardashian has reported: “[The flames] got to our gate. We are still not in our home now. The smoke, the smell is too intense”.
The California Wildfire is 93% controlled at the moment. In northern California, an additional fire burned down more than 12,000 homes and other properties and killed 81 people. Around 700 are still missing for almost two weeks since the fire travelled through the town.
