Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo has achieved a streaming milestone, by reaching number 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.
The Life of Pablo exclusivity to Tidal ended on March 31, and it’s the first album to reach the top spot with “more than half of its units were generated by streaming equivalent albums“, according to Billboard. In fact, 70% of streams accounted to Pablo’s overall sales.
Kanye’s 7th solo outing has been a whirlwind of a release, with the roll-out of the album being chaotic, alongside the updating Kanye has done, fixing the track, “Wolves” for example. Either way, congratulations Mr. West, you’ve done it again.
