Kelly Clarkson has paid tribute to singer Taylor Swift by singing “Shake It Off” at her concert in Buffalo, New York over the weekend (October 25). The event was originally scheduled for the grand opening of the Microsoft store in Walden Galleria. Clarkson stripped back the song and give a soulful feel. She said, “I love that song! Seriously, everyone gives Taylor such a hard time but she can write a hook — I’m just saying”. Taylor was thrilled about the cover and tweeted, “watching Kelly Clarkson SLAY “Shake It Off” is an excellent way to celebrate 26 HOURS TIL 1989”. Swift’s new album is to be released today, October 27.
