While Kendrick Lamar may have disappointed fans at Sasquatch! Festival when he only played one song from his 2015 album, To Pimp a Butterfly, but he did not disappoint when he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week. Accompanied by a dancing couple and a painter, Lamar took to the stage and performed an intense rendition of “These Walls” – one of the many stand-out tracks from the aforementioned album. While on the show, Lamar also took time to briefly discuss his recent award as ‘Generational Icon’ by the California State Senate and his appearance on the remix of Taylor Swift‘s “Bad Blood“.
