Kendrick Lamar is reportedly being sued by photographer Giordano Cipriani, who is responsible for his “The Blacker The Berry” artwork. The freelance photographer has named Kendrick, Interscope/Aftermath and the TDE staff in the lawsuit, claiming that the photo he took in 2011 of a woman breastfeeding her children was used without permission. on top of an injuction to stop the future use of the artwork, Giordano Cipriani is requesting $150,000 for every time the photo was used to promote the single as well as asking for his legal fees to be covered, his lawsuit was filed on July 10 in New York Federal Court.
