Kenneth Branagh has been chosen by Fox to direct the remake of the 1974 Oscar-winning movie adaptation of Murder of The Orient Express, and, he has already cast the actor who will play Agatha Christie‘s most famous detective Hercule Poirot: himself. Branagh‘s 2014 Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit was his most recent work where he directed and played, although he is familiar with the double duty process; in fact, he has worked as both a director and an actor in nine movies. He also directed last year’s commercial success Cinderella, a completely different film from the adaptation of a crime literature classic. Keep your eyes peeled for any other news on the project
