When I initially heard this song, I thought we had another Kent Jones on the scene because surely it couldn’t be the same one who sang the hip pop anthem, “Don’t Mind”. But it was.
“She was a girl from Tokyo” is what Mr Jones is singing to us in his 80s infused track, “Different Lover (Tokyo)”. I am a huge fan of that era of music as it’s what I grew up on and so I have to give it to Kent for vocally and lyrically nailing this track.
