Year 19 offers a glimpse into my mind as a young adult, representing different challenges and stages through diverse soundscapes, all mainly focusing on the guitar to bring these emotions to life,” Kidd Noir shares.

Kidd Noir’s musical journey began at the age of nine when she received her first guitar, a pivotal moment that sparked her creative aspirations. By 18, she was producing her own tracks, drawing inspiration from artists like Dijon, Mk.gee, Dominic Fike, and Frank Ocean. The EP’s lead single, “In My Head, Out My Mind,” exemplifies the depth and versatility of Year 19, with its poignant lyrics and intricate guitar-driven production. Other standout tracks, such as “Summer in 76” and “Mr. Who Knows (Messiah),” further highlight Kidd Noir’s ability to weave emotion into sound, making her music both relatable and deeply personal.
