Kids In Glass Houses have released “Vulnerable“, the second single from their fifth album, Pink Flamingo, set to debut on October 25. This marks a significant musical comeback for the Welsh five-piece band after an eleven-year hiatus, ushering in a new era of their distinctive sound.
“Vulnerable” is a song that delves into the complexities of love, described by vocalist Aled as both an “amazing thing and a terrifying concept.” He discusses how modern relationships, influenced by social media and consumer society, have evolved into increasingly unstable and anxiety-inducing dynamics. Musically, the track blends various influences, from post-hardcore to emo, creating a unique and contemporary sound.
Emerging from South Wales’ hotbed of talent in 2007, Kids In Glass Houses quickly gained a loyal fan base with their catchy songs, hard work, and stylish aesthetic. With four Top 40 albums and an enviable live reputation, they have shared stages with giants like Paramore, Stereophonics, and Fall Out Boy.
In 2023, the band celebrated the 15th anniversary of their breakout debut album Smart Casual with a sold-out UK tour and a remixed and remastered re-release of the album. These shows reignited fan enthusiasm and the band’s passion for making music. This autumn, Kids In Glass Houses will perform in seven cities across the UK, starting in Liverpool on November 1.
Kids In Glass Houses are back and bolder than ever. With a fresh sound and renewed energy, they are ready to win back the hearts of their fans. Don’t miss their new music and upcoming tour.
