One half of Krept And Konan, Krept recently took to BBC 1Xtra to discuss his recent Twitter war of words with Grime legend Wiley, after Wiley sent a few tweets about the duo’s current album The Long Way Home which charted at #2 in the UK album chart, suggesting that the record sounded more influenced by Drake than their previous projects such as Tsunami.
Wiley took to Twitter to ask people’s thoughts of The Long Way Home, making comments saying that the 7 boys’ album had a “Toronto” sound to it, insinuating that the rap duo are not staying true to the UK scene and their roots. Soon after, tweets went back and forth all day between the Godfather of Grime and the Young Kingz, as the tension increased as the drama unfolded. Krept has now sat down with Twin B and Yasmin on BBC 1Xtra to discuss the spat with Wiley. Watch below to find out his thoughts on the feud.
