Kristen Steward shows her rebel spirit in the new Chanel ad campaign to launch the latest bag innovation, The Gabrielle (the real name of Coco Chanel).
Chanel has always evoked a sense of elegace and Parisian touch, and Stewart adds a little glamour rock taste to this new campaign.
The Hollywood actress is seen dancing in an abandoned warehouse – displaying just a few piece of luxury furniture – where it seems that the Gabrielle’s spirit is still alive and present. For filming the campaign movie, Stewart wears her signature style made of a white tee, black skinny jeans and trainers and a classic Chanel tweed jacket.
“We landed on a search for Gabrielle’s spirit. There’s something eerie about it, but also quite exuberant…. It represents the first glimpse which Gabrielle is allowing you to have of her” said the actress in a behind-the-scene filming.
Cara Delevingne, Pharrell and Caroline de Maigret will join her with three more different short movies to launch the new bag, each of which by highlighting their own individuality.
