The Runaways actress Kristen Stewart has been announced as the lead in a new ghostly fashion movie, directed by Parisian Olivier Assayas. Personal Shopper, described as a “ghost movie taking place in the fashion underworld“, is reported to start filming in the French capital later this year, and reunites Stewart with Assayas, her Clouds of Sils Maria director – the same film that earned her a César award, making her the first American actress to do so. A favourite of Karl Lagerfeld and ex-Balenciaga creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, Stewart is no stranger to fashion and the perfect fit for the reportedly fantasy/ghost genre movie.
