I went to see The Perfect Guy based on the trailers I’ve seen beforehand. I am a huge fan of thrillers, having seen hundreds. The plot is not extraordinary, but it is well executed. Starring in it is Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy and Morris Chestnut. I was surprised to see how well Ealy played the role of the psychopath Carter, having seen him in many films as the good guy.
I felt the actor mix is perfect and, even though some parts are predictable, I still enjoyed the film. I liked the main trio and their performances. Plus Sanaa Lathan looks amazing. This film can be considered a life lesson about trust and making choices in life, because you can never know what a person hides under a pretty face. Watch until the end, there are some interesting twists. The Perfect Guy is out in cinemas everywhere in UK !
