The stage of Fållan & Slakthusområdet in Sweden’s capital city Stockholm is already set to be put on a massive spectacle in August 19-20 courtesy of the 2022 Ladieslovehiphop Festival.
British leading rap figure Stefflon Don and Nigerian singer Ayra Starr have already been announced as being part of the line-up and promise to make this event an unforgettable time.
Swedish collective and creative movement Ladieslovehiphop (LLHH), in collaboration with Live Nation Sweden and Luger, is giving birth to the festival with the ambition to offer diversification and equality trough live music stage around the world.
MOBO and NME Award winner Stefflon Don will make a limited appearance for the festival, making it one of the only appearances of the artist this year.
Being on a successful journey so far with “Juice” and “Like That”, collaboration with musician Miraa May and singer-songwriter Adekunle Gold, she has shared the exciting new of the release of her album expecting this year.
The 2022 Ladieslovehiphop Festival is also excited to announce the participation of rising afropop singer Ayra Starr. It is expecting to have the exclusive performances of her 19 & Dangerous debut album and breathtaking self-titled debut EP released last year.
Rising American rapper Baby Tate, British sensation Ivorian Doll, The Queen of the South Shaybo and R&B singer Ojerime and many more have been announced as performers as well.
The festival will take the visitors for an unforgettable moment, delicious foods will be proposed, exhibitions will be held on site along exciting performances shared between three stages.
Speaking about the festival, Ladieslovehiphop collective founders Nataša Marijana and Rebecca Tegegne share, “It feels amazing to finally have a proper festival summer after these past two years. We have curated a line-up of artists and DJs that we truly love and believe our community are excited to see perform.
We will transform Stockholms’ very own meatpacking district into an indoor and outdoor festival area where our visitors can enjoy concerts during the day and dance all night long to DJ sets. Besides a carefully selected line-up, the festival will offer tasty vegetarian food, art installations and much more”.
