Lady Gaga‘s plunge off the roof of NRG Stadium in Houston with a sparlinkg Swarovski-covered outifit designed by the stylist, Donatella Versace. Versace had some experience in dressing artists for the Super Bowl such as Bruno Mars for his duet with Beyoncé at Superbowl 50.
Donatella Versace flew to Houston to watch the show and support her friend. For the singer, she designed a “custom fully beaded iridiscent jumpsuit with sculptural shoulder detail paired with fully embroidered boots, both embellished with Swarovski crystals”.
Versace is a familiar brand for Lady Gaga and her stylist, Brandon Maxwell. The artist and the stylist are very close indeed, Lady Gaga starred a Versace ad campaign as Donatella’s doppelganger in 2013 and wrote a song about Ms. Versace, named “Donatella”, on the album, Artpop.
