Lauryn Hill is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, academician and actress, who established herself in the music world as the lone female member of The Fugees. Ms Hill also has recently contributed six new songs to the highly acclaimed, upcoming Nina Simone Tribute album Nina Revisited: A Tribute To Nina Simone which is to be released on the 10th of July via RCA Records in conjunction with the upcoming documentary What Happened, Miss Simone?, which became available on Netflix on June 26.
Remembering her comeback shows last year in London which didn’t go according to plan, Ms. Lauryn Hill has today, announced that she will be returning to the UK for a very special performance of her critically acclaimed and extremely intimate ‘Small Axe: Acoustic Performance Series’ at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Wednesday, July 15. Lauryn will be hoping for better feedback from her UK fans this second time round.
