It’s no secret that ever since Oasis disbanded in 2009, the relationship between the Gallagher brothers has been on rocky ground. The pair have continually expressed their mutual loathing for each other, and the latest episode in the feud sees Liam Gallagher continually brand Noel a “potato” on Twitter.
The potato feud first began back in May after producer and electronic musician David Holmes praised Noel Gallagher’s new album claiming, “people are going to be surprised” by its “fun” feel, to which Liam responded by labelling Holmes a “yes man” and Noel a “potato”, before tweeting “F*CK OASIS”, officially quelling any speculations that the band might reform this year.
A month later, Liam launched another potato attack, in retaliation to Noel’s joke in another interview that his brother’s potato insults were “so unlike him”. (“If you’re him, what else is there to tweet about? How his spring/summer collections are doing for his clothing firm?”)
The latest instalment in the potato saga came earlier today as Liam took to Twitter to insult his brother once again with another pair of hilarious unprovoked potato tweets.
