We still haven’t quite completely recovered from One Direction‘s disbandment (have we not?) that an exciting news has been announced.
Liam Payne, AKA 25% of the remaining One Direction, signed a record deal with the prestigious label Capitol Records. Rumour has it that the 22 years old superstar got signed without having recorded a single solo track, and is expected to start working on some material only in the next few weeks.
Regarding the event, Payne commented: “I’m really happy to have signed to such a prestigious label as Capitol Records UK. Capitol Records has an amazing history stretching right back before even Frank Sinatra and I’m really looking forward to becoming part of their story. One Direction will always be my family; I’m now excited to show what I can do as a solo artist”.
Will he be able to top his fellow bandmate’s – Zayn – success?
