Berkeley rapper Lil B has officially quashed the “curse” he placed on Kevin Durant, after the NBA player announced that he was joining the Golden State Warriors yesterday (June 4). The move puts an end to one of the best-known sporting curses of modern times, one which has been documented on ESPN and a number of high profile American sports networks.
Since placing the curse over Twitter in 2011, with the immortal words “KEVIN DURANT WILL NEVER WIN THE TITLE AFTER HE SAID “LIL B” IS A WACK RAPPER #THEBASEDGODSCURSE”, Durant has indeed never won a title, with his teams suffering a number of shock upsets.
