Y2K has just dropped a huge remix, and it is his version of “A Milli” by Lil Wayne. The Los Angeles producer has been making big moves, and over the past year he has been proving popular with his output.
The core of the song remains the same, like the opening bars, but then it is taken to another place completely. Very house music indeed, the sound is massive. He gets crazy, tinkering with Wayne’s vocals to the point they’re deep, bassy and not even human. This all, of course, underpinned with rattling drums. Quite original overall, in many respects.
