With the release of Now You See Me 2 coming in 2016, Lionsgate have pulled another card from their sleeve to announce that the third film is currently being developed. With the company being so confident in the release of the heist action movie Now You See Me 2: The Second Act starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco, Lionsgate feel they can steal the show and take in more than it’s predecessor that eventually made $350 Million across the globe.
Now You See Me 2; The Second Act ventures after the events of the first installment, yet with new characters from Jay Chou and wait for it… the finest wizard of them all, Daniel Radcliffe. We will have to wait until June 2016 for the magician to tackle the Four Horsemen – not that he hasn’t defeated any enemies in his past. We have to beg the question though… Do audiences want releases announced so soon?
