Leeds based band, Living Body, have announced spring 2017 tour dates across the US, including a stop in Austin, Texas for festival, SXSW 2017. This is in continued support for their debut album, Body Is Working, which came out December. Funnily enough, Living Body is a new project from Chicagoan ex-pat, Jeff T, and that is their first stop on the tour. Their date for SXSW 2017 is Friday, March 17.
Living Body came to fruition after taking part in a “one-off performance…a live event in a deconsecrated church in the heart of residential Leeds”. A month prior to the performance, they moved into the makeshift venue and to “add to the tension, all of the songs were new, played live for the first time”. This formed the basis for Body Is Working.
