Long Island Artist And Producer Gurba Releases New Single ‘Say More’

Long Island’s genre-defying musician Gurba has returned with an unconventional R&B ballad titled “Say More”. He explores a new sound realm with the new single, which is both dark and seductive. He’s wallowing in a sea of disillusionment, barely treading water as he witnesses his love’s tumultuous nature.

The accompanying video for the self-produced “Say More” was directed by Afzan for World Domination Studios. The track is the lead single from Gurba’s brand new EP titled Clarity, which is also out now.

Gurba is an artist and producer that combines elements of indie rock, alternative R&B and bedroom pop to create a unique brand of anti pop. Born and raised in Long Island, New York, he began singing in choirs at the age of nine. He performed and wrote in rock bands throughout his adolescence, performing all around New York City and Long Island.

He got accepted into the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music as a self-taught musician, and he fell in love with r&b, hip-hop, and bedroom pop when he was there. These genres’ stylistic features influenced his lyrics and production style, inspiring him to produce from an entirely different perspective.
