As millions of fans around the world prepare for the “hiatus” of One Direction, it’s slowly coming to light what each member will be doing with their time off. Harry Styles will be most likely be snapped up by record giants Sony and bring out an album, there are also rumours of acting too, while Niall Horan will also be making music and possibly going down the sports promotion route.
Liam Payne has always had an interest of getting into music production. In a previous interview, asked what he wants to do with his time off he said “There’s loads of things. I’ve been writing a lot on the road at the moment, not for me, just for other people. I’ve been doing a lot of things, you know trying to get into the producing side of it which is pretty cool“.
Louis Tomlinson however will be concentrating on his record label. He announced the creation back in April and has already signed up The X Factor UK finalist Jack Walton. In an interview with Capital London Breakfast Show Dave Berry, Simon Cowell said “I know Louis wants to be an A&R guy, run a label, he was always going to be good at that. I haven’t gone into too much detail with others“.
Louis said of his label earlier this year “This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while. To be given the opportunity to potentially give new artists a platform is an incredible feeling. I hope to sign some really exciting new artists down the line“. We wish them all the very best of luck in their new adventures.
