Louis Vuitton Unveils Spring/Summer 2020 Collection At Paris Fashion Week | Fashion News

For the third day of the Men’s Paris Fashion Week, Virgil Abloh presented the Spring/Summer 2020 collection for Louis Vuitton. The show marked Abloh’s first anniversary of joining Louis Vuitton – as the first designer of colour to hold this kind of high profile position. As one of the most anticipated runaway of the season, the artistic director of the brand has decided to take over an entire square across from the LV headquarters.

The guests have been able to discover souvenirs stalls, brasseries, crepe stands, a bookshop, a balloon artist and a bouncy castle. On table cloths, on tiny Eiffel towers and on the top of the bouncy castle, Louis Vuitton’s logo has been printed everywhere.

Concerning the collection, Virgil Abloh has been inspired by flowers which is the perfect balance between streetwear and luxe. The silhouettes has been dressed with seasonal palettes of blue, pink, green and yellow pastels. Some stand out pieces can be identified such as the utilitarian-styled outwear or a silk organza trio of a shirt, jacket and shorts dressed in rainbow LV monogram.

The latest collection of Virgil Abloh for Louis Vuitton comes just after he showcased his own collection for his brand Off-White. You can check out Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2020 capsule collection below.
