Pop duo, Lowla, have not long released their video for their track, titled “Those Days Are Gone”. This is in aid of their recent EP, Walls, which came out Friday past (September 30). It is available on iTunes, here.
“Those Days Are Gone” opens with subdued piano, the vocals composed of bluesy soul. It then builds with moody bass drum, pianos fading in the mix. It then comes back in cyclical fashion. Dirty bass then pumps to take the track in a new direction.
The video, directed by Jon Cenzual, comprises of what seems to be wayward youth roaming around on pushbikes, latterly donning bandanas over their mouths. One wonders if this conveys gang membership, a way to combat fumes emanating from the streets, or both.
