British singer and producer M.I.A. teased her fans yesterday when she posted via Twitter that she would release a new demo if she could find her Soundcloud password. A few hours later, she presented us with a political and energetic infused track entitled “Platforms“. The eclectic singer’s last official project was back in 2013 with her fourth studio album Matangi which was a breath of fresh air to say the least – “Platforms” has been released as a demo so we don’t know whether it is unfinished or will even be officially released but if this a taster of what’s to come, we are not complaining!
