As part of NPR‘s Field Recordings series Mac DeMarco has ventured out to sea in his very own rowboat to give a live performance of his song “No Other Heart”. The song is taken from his newly released mini-LP Another One which DeMarco has described as “every angle of how somebody might feel if they’re having strange feelings in their chest“.
On paper, NPR‘s maritime session is a bizarre setting for a live performance but DeMarco‘s crooning and mini keyboard coupled with the lapping waves, produces an extremely relaxing and serene musical experience. Watch Mac DeMarco set sail for NPR here.
