It’s safe to say that Madonna and Prince had a love-hate relationship. The two music icons were good friends do in the 80s when both their careers took off and collaborated on Love Song, an unreleased album track from Madonna’s fourth album Like a Prayer.
The two even became lovers before public ally falling out and taking shots at one another throughout the 90s and early 2000s. Eventually the stars settled there differences in 2011 when Madge attended a Prince concert a the artists made peace.
Madonna was clearly moved by Prince’s passing last month and has paid tribute to the late star across social media. Now it has been announced that Madonna will perform a tribute at the Billboard Music Awards on May 22. Madge even dedicated a show in 2015 to The Purple One showing that the music legends had indeed kissed and made up. It will be intriguing to see what shape a Prince-like tribute will take…
