London Fashion Week has just finished to display its last collections. The last outfits made the catwalk today and now we can sum up the best moments of this incredible event.
Versus Versace made sisters, Gigi and Bella Hadid, walk the runway wearing a futuristic look with elements of grunge. Gigi modelled in a slinky semi-sheer dress with eye-catching detail around the neckline.
Roland Mouret made people crazy in 2005 as he designed the famous ‘Galaxy’ dress, and he is back to fall us in love again. He returned to LFW to unveil triumphantly his collection to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his design work.
Age diversity in fashion industry is a hot subject these days and five models between 47 and 65 protested asking for a change. On the LFW catwalk, we saw a change, indeed. Simone Rocha included several models in their seventies in her autumn/winter collection fashion show.
But LFW is not all about outfits, and Mulberry knows it well. For his collection, he took inspiration from typical English heritage elements such as hunting, countryside, animals and dressage. Bags are a central core of his collection, showing a new way to carry them. His advice: reach a hand through the handle and clasp the top or bottom of the bag itself instead.
