She’s becoming queen of the thrills. With recent performances in Focus and Suicide Squad, Margot Robbie is adding to her crime collection with a starring role in Terminal. Written and directed by Vaughn Stein, Terminal is a neo-noir thriller about two hit men who are tasked with a mysterious objective. As they attempt to carry out the job, they cross paths with Robbie, who plays a “dynamic” woman called Annie who may be more involved with the mysterious task than the hitmen may have thought.
This is Stein’s first time directing one of his own features, having served as an assistant director for most of his career on projects like The Danish Girl, Dad’s Army and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Pre-production has already begun, being financed by Highland Film Group, and the project will be touting for business at the Berlin Film Festival.
The project is yet another lined up for Robbie, who is already starring in the Tina Fey war comedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, The Legend of Tarzan and of course the highly-anticipated Suicide Squad. Although there is no release date set for Terminal, we can next see Margot Robbie in Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which is released in cinemas March 4.
