Star of The Avengers and Foxcatcher, awesome actor Mark Ruffalo‘s new movie Infinitely Polar Bear has a new trailer and it really showcases his incredible talent, as he tackles the subject of bipolar disorder. Co-starring Zoe Salanda, Infinitely Polar Bear sees Ruffalo play a manic depressive father who desperately tries to win back the love of his wife, by taking on full responsibility for his young, free spirited daughters.
I already really like the look of the trailer, there’s a great tone of an independent flick but with the right, mainstream actors to get it enough attention, Ruffalo really is a phenomenal actor and if his performance in this is anything like his in Foxcatcher, this film could be another hit for him. The subject matter is one that must be tackled with great care and sensitivity, but I really like the gentle humour that radiates from the trailer, it feels genuine enough to be acceptable. In her directorial debut, Maya Forbes‘ Infinitely Polar Bear hits theatres on March 26.
