As the juggernaut that is Captain America 3: Civil War rolls forward, rumours continue to circulate that the Avengers angriest member may be joining the cast. It’s long been rumoured that The Hulk will appear in the film but in an interview with the Daily Beast about him donning the famous purple pants once again, Mark Ruffalo kept his cards close to his chest saying, “I haven’t seen a script, nobody’s told me and I don’t have dates. But I can only hope so“.
There’s no official word from Marvel on whether Ruffalo will appear, but it’s undeniable that the actor is popular with audiences, and it may be a smart move by Marvel to include him in the film. Ruffalo revealed that he’s spoken to Robert Downey Jr who said; “Ruffalo! I heard you’re coming out here” and Ruffalo was keen to appear saying, “OK! I’ll be there”. So far, the cast of Captain America: Civil War includes Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Vision, Ant-Man, War Machine and will introduce movie goers to both Black Panther and the latest Spider-Man.
