Marvel made its movie announcements the other night and it seems Black Widow and Hulk are being snubbed for their own, independent movies. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feig is apparently non committal about even the idea of it. I’m actually really disappointed that they wouldn’t bother working on these characters. As the only female Avenger, Marvel are really losing out by not working on the Black Widow character, and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk brought back the green monster from movie flopsville; and considering how popular he was in the first Avengers, I’m really surprised they’re not giving him his own movie. Although Feig hasn’t said an outright no on the prospect he’s called it unlikely, considering all the Marvel films on the horizon, we can’t see that changing anytime soon.
