After the greatness that was “L O N E R”, Marz Leon had us waiting on the heels of her return and now she’s back with second single “Fire”. She slows it down this time. In fact everything seems to move in slow motion from her calming sultry vocals to softer, stripped back production and deep synths. What’s not to be lost is the intensity of lyrics. She talks about sexuality, or love even in a rather interesting way. The line, “you speak words of I love you / But you f-ck like you hate me” speaks for itself. Her raw essence commands listeners and her versatility will make loyal fans out of them.
