Premièred on Capital Xtra in April, singer/songwriter May7ven is back with a brand new single titled “Betters Day”. Already receiving heavy radio rotation across the UK and Africa, “Better Days” is a mixture of Trap music infused with pop and Afrobeats with a catchy beat.
Produced by Antoine Stone, “Better Days” is about the difficulties of life, as May7ven sings about a series of bad situations from debt to cheating spouses to suicidal thoughts.
Speaking about the inspiration for “Better Days”, May7ven said “Better Days is relatable as we all have bad days and situations that almost tip us over the edge, so I put it in the music to inspire and encourage others. This record is youthful but it cuts across people of all ages, with an empowering message for everyone, as tough times don’t last forever and things will turn around”.
“Better Days” are surely ahead of May7ven as she is set to headline her own show on the 28th May, feature in a special CNN show and release her long-awaited debut album due to drop later this year.
