The story begins with Meek Mill violating his parole, and being put under house-arrest. Part of the terms for this, was that he couldn’t release any new music for the 90 day duration. However, Meek has released music, an example would be his remix of Drake’s “Summer Sixteen”.
However, new information has come to light, thanks to TMZ. According to the news outlet, The judge has cleared Meek to release music but only for free, in order to protect his brand. So, while Meek Mill won’t be able to make any money for his music just yet, he can keep his career going.
Good news!
