Meek Mill has a go at his nemesis Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” instrumental and Desiigner’s “Panda” for his latest freestyle, “Trap Vibes”. The beat is very foreboding, and his lyrics are rapped at the very top of his lungs. The song has barely started, just over a minute, before he doubles up his flow expertly, some tough work for Drake to beat.
When the beat changes, to rattling drums and all, he briefly raps acapella. The intimidating toll of the bell is set against what you can hear as someone who is actually enjoying these verses. There are gunshots fired just before the final refrain of the instrumental.
