The French Nuveau Riche would be nothing without this man, pioneering film maker and French new wave maverick Jean-Luc Godard. The master of film himself is getting the screen treatment in Hollywood in Michel Hazanavicius’ latest film. The director has previously directed such classics such as The Artist.
Pre-production on the film, entitled Redoubtable has already begun. The synopsis of the film set around the love story based around that told in the autobiography Un An Apres by actor Anne Wiazemsky – who had a romance with the director.
Louis Garrel is cast as the man himself, Jean-Luc Godard, whilst Stacy Martin is cast as Wiazemsky.
