After the release of her 213 EP, Mila J is back with another track and this time it seems she is addressing her ex who she explicitly describes in this track as a “F Boy”. The song is a less melodramatic breakup song that leaves you feeling like you are better alone than with a guy who, in Mila’s words is “a liar”.
The song is very laidback with a funky/jazz vibe to it. Lyrically she is very repetitive which makes the song catchy and easy to sing along to. Nonetheless she is making it very clear to us and her ex, she wants no future dealings with him or his dog. Ouch!
I do hope this means a new project is underway as I do enjoy her music. Have a listen to “F Boy” below:
