In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Miley Cyrus says just what she thinks about Taylor Swift’s music video for “Bad Blood”. The video in question features Swift and a gang of friends training in order to get her own back on a former friend. It insinuates that the solution to betrayal is to get revenge, which is what Cyrus has a problem with.
“I don’t get the violence revenge thing. That’s supposed to be a good example? And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns“, Cyrus said about the “Bad Blood” video. Cyrus herself has had her fair share of controversy including pole-dancing at the Teen Choice Awards at sixteen, grinding against Robin Thicke during the 2013 VMAs, and various semi-nude cover photos and music videos. As she will be hosting the VMAs this year, I wonder how Cyrus will react if “Bad Blood” wins any of the many awards that it’s been nominated for.
