PENG PENG! The MOBO Awards Nominations are finally announced! The press launch took place at Ronnie Scott’s in London on Wednesday, September 21, and WPGM was there to get the informations first hand for our lovely readers. You will be able to read our thoughts on the full list of nominees on We Plug GOOD Music later this week.
To mention a few of them: Craig David, Katy B, 67, Fekky, James Blake, AJ Tracey, Frank Ocean, Bill Laurance, Andrew Bello, Alkaline, Moelogo, Eugy, and many many more.
WSTRN, who are nominated in the ‘Best Newcomer’ category, performed their hit single “In2” and new track “A List” to bring the proceedings to an end, while other stars in the ‘Best Newcomer’ category such as AJ Tracey, Nadia Rose, Katy B and Avelino were also on hand to find out about their MOBO Award nominations.
Laura Mvula and Kano are both nominated for four categories, including ‘Best Album’, while Skepta scores three nominations and Craig David picks up two nominations for ‘Best Male’ and ‘Best Song’. Chase & Status will be performing at the ceremony in The SSE Hydro, Glasgow on November 4.
