Now in their fortieth year, hard rock stalwarts, Motorhead have released an incredible amount of music since their inception in 1975. Their back-catalogue consists of twenty-two albums (including the soon-to-be-released Bad Magic) and the first taste of their latest record comes in the form of “Thunder & Lightning“. The album is running on schedule, despite Lemmy’s (bass, vocals) recent bouts of ill health, due to years of excessive drinking and smoking, and “Thunder & Lightning” sees the band doing what they always do: playing hard, fast and relentlessly for the song’s three-minute running time. “Thunder & Lightning” can be heard below.
