UK rap star Ms Banks has delivered her new hit titled “Typa Way” featuring Tion Wayne.
The single comes with a fitting music video, which shows Ms Banks and Tion Wayne cosying up to each other, as they seem to want more than just a friendship. According to Ms Banks, “Typa Way is a feel good track about meeting someone special, hoping it can be more”.
“Typa Way” comes on the back of her acclaimed “Party” track with Naira Marley, and her successful collaboration with fellow UK female rap star Stefflon Don on “DIP”.
The past few years had been filled with rich experiences for the artist, having performed at the BRIT Awards, BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend and BBC Radio 1 Xtra Live 2019, land a BET Hip Hop Awards nomination, and made it onto the 2020 XXL Freshman cover shortlist.
Her last two projects The Coldest Winter Ever parts one and two remain highly sought after and acclaimed by fans and critics alike, and they have propelled her to the front of the scene, where she has gained a lot of spotlight for her music.
2022 will see the rising star take over some of our favourite festivals in the summer including Wireless and Strawberries & Creem. Ms Banks will also be performing at the Roundhouse next month, on April 16, so don’t miss her!
