Hit machine, Rihanna, was one of MTV’s VMA highlights this year, showing up with four separate medley performances, spanning her biggest tracks over her massively successful career.
She opened up the VMA’s with her first medley which included “Don’t Stop the Music”, “Only Girl”, “We Found Love” and “Where Have You Been”. Later on she returned for “Rude Boy”, “What’s My Name” and “Work”. Then she reappeared with “Needed Me”, “Pour It Up” and “B**** Better Have My Money”.
Finally, she performed “Stay”, “Diamonds” and “Love On The Brain” before being presented the Video Vanguard Award by collaborator, Drake, who gave a loving tribute to her, declaring “She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old”. Check out some of the footage below, while many of the official recordings are currently region locked.
