Belfast musician Drew Makes Noise has released his new song titled “Secret Of Life”.
Drew Make Noise has spent the last tumultuous years to create his own psych-rock-prog-pop world between singles and DIY videos.
After gaining recognition from Clash Magazine, which premiered the hot debut single video “Satellite”, Press Mag, BBC Sounds and RTE2 FM, the Irish artist took the stage at one of the Belfast’s first post pandemic sold out indoor shows Stendhal Festival to offer an unforgettable performance.
Therefore, 2022 is ready to announce the debut album of the Belfast based musician.
Sharing the recording between Attica Donegal with Tommy from Villagers and Belfast’s Start Together studios with Ryan McGroarty, the upcoming untitled 13 track debut album is set to represent the personal psychpopprogrock sound of the artist.
The new track “Secret To Life” is ready to share its surrounded synths, crazy brass and children’s choir to boot giving some reminiscence of Tame Impala group or Mercury Rev band but also Sparklehorse.
Speaking about the release of the new single, the artist states, “I wrote Secret To Life at 4 am while in that twilight, contemplative frame of mind and singing extra soft so as not to wake anyone up. The sentiment is fairly uncloaked and uncomplicated. Just a little prayer that I can be at peace with all life’s unanswered questions.”
