An actress in her own right, she’s been in a number of movies and TV shows including being recently cast as Jasmine in the upcoming live-action remake of Disney‘s Aladdin. “So Low” is a gliding slice of low-key R&B with effortless vocals that relates the drag of a failed love. Ethereal from the jump, it displays the right soulful, jazzy signatures and melodies that will have music lovers falling in love with this immediately. And her R&B vocals make this ultra-palettable. Scott also the dropped another track which is more upbeat but just as smooth – “Undercover“. Definitely check it out.
On the new track, Naomi Scott said: “I wrote ‘So Low‘ about a friend of mine, who was in a relationship that left them pretty drained. I liked the contrast and idea of writing quite sad lyrics against an upbeat fun track. It’s heartbreak illustrated in a playful way, (if that’s even possible!).”
