A new Netflix thriller is on its way titled The Woman In The Window starring Amy Adams, and should be released on May 14 in the United States after being postponed by a year because of the pandemic. A second new trailer for the film has come out and is giving us real curiosity on the ending of this movie.
The movie has Amy Adams starring as Dr. Anna Fox. A doctor who has had problems and difficulties with her health. For this role, we get a totally different Amy than what we usually see, and alongside her is the actress Julianne Moore playing Jane Russell also known as Katie.
Not only does Anna have health problems and being an agoraphobic woman, but she also sees her life getting turned upside down when she witnesses her neighbour and friend Jane being murdered. After calling for the police to investigate, they explain to her that it has been a mistake because her supposed actual neighbour Jane is still alive, but also that she has never even met Anna.
It seems like we are not going to know what really happened to Anna nor to Jane her neighbour until the end of the movie, which is always a mystery and a sort of stress for the viewers, with the usual psychological twist to the movie.
In this new and official trailer, we can clearly see how the story goes on but there is still a bit of mystery on how does Doctor Fox becomes a target from her closest friend, who seem to be hiding a dark secret. With having Joe Wright as the director of the film, it should be good. The movie was based on a novel with the same name from author A. J. Finn.
Gary Oldman plays Jane’s husband, Alistair Russell, with Wyatt Russell playing David Winters, Anthony Mackie as Ed Fox. The rest of the cast include Brian Tyree Henry, Jeanine Serralles, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Fred Hechinger.
We will have to wait a few weeks to see this movie, but while we wait for that, watch the trailer here:
